SURVIVAL GUIDE
Virgin?? Is this your first festival? How exciting! Now, what to pack?

Costumes, clothing, and raveware
Check out our public Pinterest for costume ideas! Wear your Halloween costume, go full Alice In Wonderland, or commit to the rave bit! Whatever your heart desires! Make sure you grab the Empress's favorite glitter!
Shoes are a mission-critical part of festivals, make sure they're comfortable! Our events are all outdoors with grass or gravel underfoot. This is NOT the time to be strutting in Lou batons. Sneakers, tennis shoes, or sturdy sandals will keep you dancing all night long! If you have sensitive feet, shoe insoles can keep you from suffering!

Camping Essentials
While you're more than welcome to just curl up in the backseat of your car, a little bit of prep work will make the experience a lot more comfortable.

Checking In
When you first arrive at the festival, our wonderful staff will greet you at the front gates! We'll check your ID and verify your ticket, and you'll get a wristband (and X's on your hands if you're under 21) and be directed where to park based on your ticket level and if you plan to camp overnight. Remember, staying overnight gets you a premium spot right near the action!
Then, the world is your oyster! Check out the vendors, grab a drink, set up your tent, and start dancing!

Rave Fam
Come with friends, stay with friends, leave with friends! NEVER head home without the whole squad, it's not very PLUR! While we work very very hard to keep our festival safe, inclusive, and welcoming to all, you should never go off into the woods with people you do not know, or take substances from strangers, no matter how hot or trustworthy they seem. Use the buddy system, and stick with those you trust! If you do run into any problems or get stranded, find any Book Of Techno staff, we can help you!

P.L.U.R.
PLUR is the foundation of raving!
Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect
It’s about creating a safe, welcoming space where everyone is free to express themselves, connect through music, and support one another without judgment. Whether it’s sharing a smile, exchanging kandi, or helping a stranger feel included, PLUR reminds us that festivals are more than just parties—they're about community, compassion, and good vibes. 🌈💫 Make sure to show PLUR to everyone you meet!
